12oz bottle. Poured a dark bornw, almost cola color with a small off-white, fizzy head. Aroma was roasted malts, with some dark chocolate character in there. Light tart notes, like that green pepper notes you get from fresh coffee sometimes, light herbal character, chocolate finish.

12 oz bottle poured into a Mad Fox tulip pint glass. Bottled on 3/9/2017. Dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, roasted coffee, a hint of licorice. Tastes of cocoa, dark chocolate, a little oak, roasted coffee, subtle hint of tartness (in a good way) towards the finish. Medium body with a dry finish. Nice dry stout.

12 ounce bottle thanks to Erik! Near black, thin foamy tan head, fair retention. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt, cherries, molasses. The taste is roasted malt, coffee, a lactic note, cherries. Medium-full bodied, very lightly tart, well balanced. This is a god damn good beer from two great breweries!
