Gravicask, 1/3 pint, shared with Finn at GBBF Winter '23. Beige, bubbly head, almost black in the glass, scattered lacing. Sweet smell of chocolate and dried fruits. Mixed malt-driven taste of nuts, chocolate and prunes. Sweet ending, hints of rum. Medium bodied. Satisfying, too sweet for a higher score. (Burton upon Trent, 17.02.2023).

Delt med Rune på GBBF Winter i Burton-Upon-Trent. Ultramørkebrun/svart. Luftig skumring med litt farge. Vaniljearoma. Smaken tørket frukt & bær. Tørr, lett bitter avsutning. Ble for søt.

Cask at Slaters, Stafford Well it starts off in a positive way, with lots of rum and coconut in the nose. Pours a dark reddish brown with a strong beige head. Then you taste it – and it all falls to pieces ! Very watery with a general fruity sweetness all that can be detected. Black wine gums ? Joogleberries ? The rum is wel disguised. Whoever brewed this should be kidnapped at gunpoint and frogmarched to the Baltic States and shown what a proper Baltic Porter should taste like !

Skipton Beer Festival 2017. Black and very sweet, but this sweetness hides its strength.
