Tap at Local Option. Alcohol soaked cedar, old person basement, birch root aroma. Very unique, certainly its own beer. The aroma and other characteristics of this beer are out there, pushing the limits like DFH would like to. Really has that mildew woody stale smoke smell. Grows onme as I sip at it. Has a nice clean English like base that I really like. Birchy smoke. The smoke comes out the more you sip at it. Kind of a schnaps thing going on. Memorable,solid brew.
