Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2016. Pours a clear gold with a slight amber hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of grapefruit, a bit of earthy citrus and a grain backbone. Flavor has a good amount of bitter grapefruit, some earthy citrus, a bit of grass and a hint of grain backing.

Tap. Pours hazy golden, small white head, decent lacing. Aroma is a pleasant tropical melon mix, hints of dank pot. Flavor is light sweet, medium bitter, dank and juicy, but a bit of butter as well. Medium body, low carbonation, approaching flat.

Enjoyed on tap at Ballpark Brewfest in Schaumburg, IL. I didn’t take tasting notes for this one, but remember this being a nice IPA with a large hop profile that was rather complex. I think I’m going to seek this one out again to try it out.

Sample at the brewpub. Hazy pale orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, tropical fruit and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

Growler shared with Anndiesel. Thick unfiltered orange-tan body. Foamy, glass lacing white head. Pleasant peach, apricot tinged hop aroma. Pretty much an awesome IPA. Juicy bold hops. The malt has a little more depth than a lot of beers that showcase new hop varietals this way, but still pretty much a good toasty base for the hops to shine. Really excellent beer.

Draft at the source. Pours a slightly hazy medium gold with a half finger white head. All kinds of citrus and tropical fruits in the aroma. Taste is medium bitter. Citrus and pine. Light bodied with a slick texture. Lively carbonation and a super long finish. Overall, awesome. This may be my new pig minds go-to.
