We’d like to welcome to the world the first in a new series of Funked up IPAs, Altered State - Lemon.
Brewed with a high amount of Acidulated Malt to lower the PH we also added lemon zest at three different stages of the brewing process. The result is a sharp citrus tang backed up by a big juicy punch of Citra, Ekuanot & Lemon Drop.
We will be changing the Hops and Fruit additions to this beer over the course of the next year and can’t wait to see how it evolves.

Bottle from Boxbeers. Hazy yellow, with a white head. Slightly tart aroma with tropical fruits, grass and pound cake. Taste is a bit tangy with citrus, grass and tropical fruits. The tangy citrus is a letdown, unfortunately. Not as clean as the best neipas.
