With this beer we were trying to execute the least malt forward Red IPA possible and we feel like we have achieved our goal. This is hopped intensely with Amarillo and Galaxy. Incredibly dank, pine, fresh grapefruit. We are pretty stoked on this and hope you are too.

Poured from a can dated May 31, 2016. Aroma is rather hop forward with a lot of grapefruit and some lighter stone fruit and tropical fruit. A light, resinous and dank hop note with a touch of pine resin. Some medium malt notes with cracker and toasted bread as well as some caramel. Pours a hazy, copper orange with a medium sized , thick white head that recedes to a thin film that lingers on the edges. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor has a medium sweetness with some toasted bread, caramel and crackers. Medium high bitterness and a hint of alcohol in the finish. Moderate hop notes with tropical fruit including mango as well as quite a bit of stone fruit. Medium light citrus notes with orange and tangerine. Some light resin and pine notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a better red IPA than I was expecting. Hops work well with the malt character and the malt profile isnβt too strong.
