Honey golden coloured body with a crystal clear glow and a thinnish off-white head. Aroma of light malt, citrus, a touch of grain and some subtle sweetness from corn and rice. Light-bodied; Rather pungent malt flavours at first with some rye and specialty grains, some subtle sweetness from fruit and caster sugar and ending with a light bitterness from some very low alpha acid hops. Aftertaste is relatively straight forward and earthy with some mild tastes and a touch of sweetness. Overall, a decent, but low impact beer with not too many flavours or pungency, but not bad. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased in a mixed six pack from Giant in Falls Church, Virginia by my brother-in-law (Thanks Andy), and sampled on 04-July-2016 while watching the fireworks over the city while at home in Washington on Independence Day!
