Gravity cask at Pigs Ear '22, day one, 29/11/22. Black with a good sized khaki head. Nose is dark malts, dried fruit rinds, dates, raisins, toffee. Taste comprises chocolate, brown bread, earthy toast, dates, charr, fruit slice. Medium body, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Decent cask stout.

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2022 - day 3. Pours deep brown with a small, creamy white head. Medium sweet flavour with chocolatey notes, dark berries, soft roast, brown bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, rich and malty, cocoa, dark fruits. Tasty.

Keg at The Farmer's Boy, St Albans, Herts. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a healthy beige/off white head on top. Roasty, malty, milk chocolate, vanilla aroma and taste. Pleasant.

Keg at brewdog Lothian road. Pours black, nose is roasted, chocolate, coffee, taste is similar, creamy, liquorice.
