Bottle from the Lancashire Bottle Shop. Pours clear dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of dark stone fruits, light dusty cocoa, faint coffee roast. Taste is roastier, bitter roast, cigarette packet in a good way. Smoky prune finish. Nice stout.

21/7/2019. Bottle from Priest Town Brewing Bottle Shop, Preston. Pours almost black with a short lasting beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, dark fruit, liquorice, coffee and ash. Medium sweetness with moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, slick texture, very soft carbonation.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, caramel, licorice, coffee and hops. Sweet roasty finish.

ABV: 5.8%. Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, spicy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, spicy - licorice, chocolate, malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180123]
