Session IPA - SUP this pale amber IPA gives that wonderful hoppy palate you are looking for with hints of grapefruit and floral aromas. These flavours come from American hops summit and comet. All the love of an IPA with a fraction of the alcohol.

Thin beige head left a small collar on a hazy light golden body. Peach & confectionery aroma. Medium bodied, no carbonation, lifeless - poor. Stone fruit, hoppy, pineapple & pithy tastes.

330ml can. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is malt, mineral, earthy, light citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, watery, crisp, light fruity, pepper spice, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Rather light all round, but that's just what it says on the tin.

Can at Three Joe's, Winchester. First Chop SUP - low key floral citrus aroma. Slightly hazy pale gold. Frothy white head. Medium bitter. Quinine and herbs to the fore. Underlying citrus sourness. Light bodied. Thin. Fizzy carbonation. Dry astringent finish. It's fine.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft. Pours clear amber-gold with a frothy topping. Fairly sweet, lots of brown bread, a little toffee, pine, ripe orange. Light bodied, oily, with fine carbonation. Finishes sweet, with toasted brown bread, grains, soft resinous pine, more toffee, a few berries. Drinkable, but quite basic.
