Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours slightly hazy deep golden with small off-white head which dissapates quickly. No lacing, medium/light body, medium/low carbonation, and caramel malt aroma. Taste is estery wheat and some clove. Not that great.

Bottle. Label says "Lake Placid Craft Brewing Hefeweizen Wheat Ale", no "High Peaks". Beer of the month club. Cloudy dark orange color with a medium white head. A somewhat restrained aroma of wheat, fruity esters, bubblegum notes, light graininess and some yeast. Sweetish wheaty fruity flavor with light acidicty. Medium-bodied. OK.

A turbid blondish hefeweizen with a thick white head. In aroma, light bananas, cloves, a bit of funk. In mouth, a sweetish hefeweizen with a light body, a bit of berries, refreshing and milkey. On tap at brewpub, July 18 2010.
