Monogamy is our ongoing series of IPAs brewed exclusively with one hop variety at a time. Ie, a delicious, controlled experiment designed to give us all a better understanding of what a hop can do when it flies solo.

What is smells like, what it tastes like: Brewed exclusively with Nectaron hops, this beer showcases notes of donut peaches, apricots and sunshine!

Hazy yellow, medium white head. Slightly dank, loads of citrus zest, and oils. Light stone fruit. Vibrant carb and mouth feel. Low to medium bitterness. Finish is herbaceous, with touches of mint and basil.

Can from the LCBO. Super hazy yellow with a small white cap that leaves some stringy lace. Nose is citrus peel, peach, light grass, some floral notes, some spearmint, and some light grains. Light fruity sweetness with some passionfruit leading to a medium pineapple and grapefruit bitterness. Mouth is medium and creamy with soft carbonation and a juicy finish. Tasty. 8+/3/8/4/15

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops notes with some faint tropical notes and some floral undertones. Taste is a mix of citrusy notes with some juicy hops floral undertones and some light tropical notes. Body is full with a nice creamy texture. Godo NEIPA but not sure this hop strain is really interesting by itself.

Poured from the tap. Opaque yellow with small white head. Yeast soup. Chalk, citrus hops, hint of dankness, very mild hop burn. The hops are actually slightly muted by the yeastiness of this. Berko will hate rate this to pieces.
