Can from the LCBO. Very dark mahogany with a short lived one finger khaki coloured head that leaves spotty lace. Nose is dark chocolate , roasted nuts, peppermint and some vanilla. Light chocolate sweetness with a light+ coffee bitterness. Mouth is medium and creamy with soft carbonation. 7/3/6/3+/13

This stout poured a black colour, with a nice, creamy brown head. Nice lacing. The nose doesn’t have much more than mint and cocoa. Maybe a little coffee? First swig was slightly sweet, smooth and silky. Flavours of dark chocolate, mint, coffee and molasses. Finish is light mint and cocoa. Not overly complex.
