22oz bottle pours a clear, garnet amber with some creamy, white head. Nose of cherries and raisins, bread crust, cough syrup. Flavor has more robitussin, cherry, raisin, malt, some pear. Medium bodied but medicinal Wow, way off. Not even infected, just bad.

12oz bottle. Unfiltered, thick orange-red-brown color. Oily, smallish off-white head. Sweet, intensely sugary. Has some OK malt depth, but the hops aren’t offering much. Has an old school 90s brewpub kind of feel...not in a good way. Not quite big enough to be a Barleywine, but sort of heading in the direction, at least for a Brown. Tolerable, but not one I’d revisit eagerly.
