12oz bottle. Deep mahogany brown with a thin oily head that laces the edges if the glass. Pretty nice. Lots of deep malty tones and yeasty pungency. It does come off a little strong and unrefined at times, not unlike an Imperial Stout..a little bit odd for the style. Some dark fruit tones. There is a lot of good stuff going on, but overall this beer is sort of a mess. OK, certainly worth a try.
