12oz bottle. Red hued brown-black. Thin, creamy beige head. Medium bodied, mild Porter. Not a whole lot going on, leans into some fruity caramel and amber malt tones. No real hop depth, just some slight bitterness. No real malt depth either, none of the rich chocolate tones you might hope for either. Rindy, coffee grinds flavor. A disappointment, not unlike a soulless Mild.

Bottle: Dark brown with a thin tan head. Rich and sweent aroma of milk chocolate and light espresso notes. Maybe more of a mocha thing, I guess. Taste features a heavy roast component with lighter espresso and chocolate parts. Light bittersweetness in the tail. Simple and solid.

They flavors came out well but they need to work on the light body. There is oatmeal, coffee, and very light malt. The beer is dark brown, lightly carbonated with a small head. Beef up the flavors and palate.
