From recently unearthed notes. Drank January 2018. Cask at Bar Fringe, Manchester. Amber pour with a white head. Spiced fruit and caramel aromas. Taste is toffee apple, spiced fruit, some orchard fruit creeping through. Malty bittersweet finish.

Cask (handpump) @ MBCF17 [ Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2017 ] Manchester Central Convention Complex, Windmill Street, Manchester, Greater Manchester, England M2 3GX. [ As Seven Bro7hers Ruby ].Clear medium yellow amber colour with a small to average, frothy, good to fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, pale malt, bread. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, bread, pale malt, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20170119] 6-3-6-3-12

Cask @ Dockyard, Salford. Clear copper with a thick creamy head. Has a robust grainy character, with a rawness about its malt, and a very mild sweetness. It has a pleasant, smooth, easy-drinking texture.
