Shaker pint draft at John Hawkes Pub in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The pour is slight haze yellow golden with not much of a white head. The aroma is faint, there is a bit of spice, a bit of grain and a general tea aroma. The taste picks up considerably on the green tea - certainly the dominant flavor. In addition to the tea, there is also the grain and general spice from the nose. The palate is light bodied, soft carbonation and a dry green tea finish. Fun at first, though a full pint of this was too much. Very surprised this is listed as an Abbey Dubbel.

On tap at Milwaukee Brewing Co. Pours a cloudy bright hazy yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma is full of light fruit and citrus with backing sweet wheat, spices and light alcohol. Flavor has a good amount of potpourri with citrus and light fruit with some alcohol underlying.

First of all this is more of an Imperial Wit than a Dubbel. Draft at Dexters. Pours a filtered golden-tan with a thin, creamy white head. Belgian yeast, rich creamy malt tones, displays some rugged ABV. Soapy bitterness, very dry. Fruity undertones. A little too sweet for me, sort of brutal. Still a quality effort, decent beer.
