22oz bottle split with Anndiesel. Filtered copper-orange. Steady off-white head. Doughy, fruity aroma..nice and fresh..despite it being the end of November. Classic German malt and noble hops. Really well done, true to style, but still a touch original. This is really World Class stuff, a great Ale, that still manages to have some really sublime malt and yeast tones.

Had on draft at Asheville bier garden for lunch on my last day in town. Pours amber with thin head. Taste is of grains, malt, cloves, and pineapple. Decent Oktoberfest.

22 ounce bottle courtesy of Butters. Clear copper color with a medium head. The aroma is sour, clearly with something unwelcome, and some toasty maltiness. Taste is toasted malts, caramel and a light tart note. Medium bodied. Past its prime and something is off, but it’s not too far gone yet.
