Draft. Dark mahogony beer with a dark cream colored head. Port and malt aroma with toffee. Port and malt flavor with light fruitiness. Medium bodied. Port and malt lingers with light fruit and light earth.

Marin 21 (aged in Port with brett and other bugs). Pours with a murky brown body and a thin tan head. Aromas of red wine, vinous, funk, horseblanket, acidity, currants, vinous, dates and brown sugar. Flavors of brown sugar, acidity, tongs of funk, alcohol, red wine and berries. Not a ESA as the site currently has it. Not a traditional old ale either (including traditional old ales with brett c...this is sour). Acidity and a bit thing, some tannins and light bubbles. Good, interesting. Like a young Consecration.

On tap at the Bistro BA festival. Pours black with no head. Light sour aroma. Interesting - mildly sour - almost creamy texture. Malt flavor - and not a lot of bitter. A little grapey - slightly oaky.
