This ale is stronger and more heavily bodied than a pale ale with a higher amount of bitterness. The blend of English and American hops make this copper colored ale pleasing for those pale ale lovers.

on tap-pours a white head and gold color. Aroma is sweet citrus/pine, secondary medium malt. Taste is very pine/some citrus hops-bitter, dry, secondary light/medium malt.

draft at the brewpub - Pours copper with a lingering white head that laces well. It has a mild citrus hop aroma. The flavor is obviously hop led accented by a touch of citrus. It’s light bodied, has a long, bitter finish, and is simple and unremarkable.

Sampler, from 2001 notes. Yes, very hoppy, with the requisite American northwestern hop note. Still manages to finish with a good aftertaste.
