Shared third of a pint on 28th September 2023; 31st Shrewsbury Beer Festival in St Mary's Church. As the name suggests, this is a golden beer which has a white head. It poured clean and clear, with a citrusy front to the nose and taste, some malt action for balance.

Cask (gravity) @ 34th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2017, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As 9 Lives Gold ].Clear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweeet malt, light to moderate toffee, light butterscotch. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, pale malt, cookie, butterscotch.
