Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a dark brown color with a thin white to off white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. Adequate foamy lacing clung for a little bit and then slid.
The smell had a mild nutty/caramel aroma that when it warmed it seemed like there was a brown sugar thing going on.
The taste followed the nose but the brown sugar thing was there before it warmed as it seemed more combined.
On the palate, this one sat kinda light and came across fairly sessionable.
Overall, decent brown ale, Iβm not sure if that brown sugar that was meant to be there or not and honestly Iβm not sure if I really liked it in the beer or not. I might come back to it if I ever saw it again.

Draft. Not quite a porter; its malt profile is less complex. A good-looking brown beer body, though its taste runs a little thin at first. I go get a nice touch of coffee and chocolate toward the end, though.
