On tap at the brewpub. Labeled asan american pale ale? Slightly dark amber pour, and an off white head. A very resinous pine aroma, with alot of caramel malts. Very bitter, lots of citrus pithy bitterness, with a pine finish.

A hazed amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet citrusy pulp with caramel malt, British hops, nice. In mouth, a sweet caramel malt with fruity esters, light grassy hops, doughy notes, bourbon notes, nice. On tap at c’est what beer fest.

Bottle from the brewery. Clear deep copper with a small tan head that is soon gone. Dominant caramel nose with some pine and floral notes with definite alcohol in the background. Sweet bready start with medium pine bitterness in the middle through the long finish. Bitterness can’t quite cover the alcohol in the background. Mouth is medium slick with average carbonation. Decent level of bitterness from the Columbus hops, but need something else.
