In the game of life, sometimes you have to make an unexpected left turn. Maybe it wasn't part of the plan, but it's what you have to do. When we brewed this beer, we didn't know it would end up in cans, but now that it is, we couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. We love how well some of our favorite hops, Simcoe, Citra, Amarillo and Mosaic came together. Grapefruit, orange, pine and berry, they're all here! We hope this beer makes all of those unexpected lefts over the next few weeks taste a little bit better.

Can from Andrewje41, thanks: pours clear golden with a nice white head (oh what has the world come to that we are surprised by such a pour). Aroma is mostly grapefruit. Taste is a clean, lightly to moderately bitter, mild sweetness, nice grapefruit notes generally. Solid IPA. Good body.

16 oz can poured, picked up at Stoup. My first ever Emergency IPA. The styles are getting crazy these days. *desperate times call for emergency beer. Love it. Mostly clean, and bright golden pour, thin fizz head. Aroma is a refreshing orange and citrus fruit. Grapefruit from a distance. Very nice. Really easy drinking IPA, full of citrus flavor. It's not too sharp, and not too flabby either. Right where an IPA needs to be. Love the lingering grapefruit zest here. Excellent brew here.
