330ml can. Cloudy mauve colour with huge, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, pink-ish head. Earthy beetroot aroma, a wheaty touch, slightly piney, herbal and minimally citrusy hoppy overtones lend some airiness. Taste is spicy, earthy, predominating notes beetroot accompanied by some mild hop bitterness, peppery spiciness, maybe a touch of orange; no evidence for 8% abv. Very well working composition.

Can at The Tap Room Cliftonville. Hazy red pink colour lasting pink head. Yes some wheat on the aroma. It’s not your trad German hefe more a fruity wheat ale. Doesn’t taste of 8%. I think it’s remarkable. Yes some beetroot flavour yes some hop god knows what yeast this is. A bock yeast? It just works. Sherbet hop hefe yeast beetroot sweet fruit and the abv. Just fun.
