Undeniably different, we are proud to introduce Rauk, our signature smoked beer that is packed with fun and excitement.
The beer malt is delicately smoked, then infused with noble hops with pine and floral notes. Ideal as a finisher of a meal or around the open fire in a cosy autumn night.
An English beer with German accent, this ale is inspired by the Rauchbier (smoked lager) from Bamberg.

Bottle courtesy of John (cheers John!) consumed at home Sunday 18th September 2016 now making large pasta shells stuffed with smoked salmon, cream cheese and dill. Dirty gold in appearance with a huge billowing white head. Smoky nose, not huge smoke but subtly smoked with a slight burnt fruit skin tinge also. Very easy going in the mouth, smoky but not full on Bamberg Schlenker liquefied frankfurter sausage smokiness. Really pleasant and another decent beer from Church Hanbrewery, nice steady solid start.
