Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a dark brown with a off white to tan colored head. Aroma is fruit and spices, warming to the nose, yeast, malts. Taste is dark fruits, figs, dates, yeast esters, spices, caramel, malty.

Sample, thanks Grumbo. Dark brown, larger beige head, medium lasting. Spicess in the aroma, some cloves, yeast and some biscuits with some cinnamon. Moderate bitterness, quite sharp with spicess. Medium body. Too strong with spicess. Decent.

9/12/2016. Cask at the Briarbank, Ipswich. Pours copper brown with a small off white head. Aroma is sweet, nutty, with a good mix of spices reminiscent of walking around a Grenada spice market! Medium to heavy sweetness. Medium body, sticky texture. Finishes like a spicy alcoholic medicine. Really grew on me this one. 24/12/2021. Bottle from the brewery. Pours darker brown with a small creamy off-white to beige head. Aroma is less spiced and nutty than what I noted back in 2016, more plummy, dark fruits and malts, more Belgian. Still packs a lot into its 6%. One of their best.
