Cask at the Jugged Hare. It pours deep amber-brown with small dirty beige head. The nose is soft, bitter-sweet, earthy toast, wood and subtle sweet dried fruits. The taste is bitter-sweet, wood, resin, leather, toast, earth, dried fruits, light spice and dull umami vibe with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A bit rustic and lacks some clear definition. OK at best.

Cask at the Ealing Park Tavern - London. Pours clear copper-amber with a frothy off-white head. The aroma holds some toasty grains, damp earth, ripe orange. Light to medium sweet flavorbwith some rotting citrus fruits, damp earth, bitter leaves, old berries, pine. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Plenty of damp earth to finish, more ripe berries, wood, leaves. So so. Not the most drinkable stuff.
