[Rerate, 25 Dec 2017] 12 oz. Can. Thanks, Tim! Pours black, with a big, fizzy, brown head. The aroma is molasses, chicory, light coffee, and a bit of sour milk. Sweet, with a dank bitterness. Odd aftertaste. Heavy body, with a chalky, syrupy, and sharp mouthfeel. This is pretty good stout, but something isn't quite right.

[29 Jan 2014] Cask sampled at ACAT, conditioned with cocoa nibs and chipotle peppers. Pours black, with a small, tan head. Notes of coffee, espressso, dark chocolate, and some distinct notes of chilies. Sweet, with a significant bitterness, and a light spiciness through the finish. Medium to heavy body, and very abrasive. This is a nice coffee stout, although I’m not a big fan of coffee. Overly bitter, and the chilies add an unpleasant mouthfeel.
