Tap at brewery. Nut brown colour, small steady beige head and lace. Nutty and caramelly aroma. Medium-bodied. Malty, caramelly, nutty, a bit alcoholic, some fruit cake. Nice.

Strong earthy malts with a moderate caramel-brown sugar sweetness sliding into a bready Scottish back end. Mild bitterness on the finish, and the fade is sufficiently round and warm. Slight hints of butter, but a little butter never hurt nobody.
