Bottle. Much better than the pale lager. Nice amber color, with a medium head. Aroma is malty with hints of brown sugar. Taste is well balanced up front with a slightly sweet finish.

Bottle courtesy of Asbjorn, thanks. My first MN beer rating. Pours clear amber with a lasting bubbly white head. Aroma of malt, light hop and fruit, also metallic, vegetable and slight nut. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Light to medium body, thinnish texture, average carbonation. Finish is malty, sticky. Better tick than beer.

There’s no arguing over the name here, this beer is definitely amber. I didn’t realize it was a Melanie beer when I bought, otherwise I might have thought twice. Nose is light caramel, toasty malts, grainy. Flavor similar, light malts, sweetish, peppery and herbal hop just barely present. A solid meh.

Clear light amber color with a light khaki head and average retention. Good lacing. Pretty light caramel taste for an amber but a very good smooth pale lager. Very sessionable.
