Bottle brought back from a trip to Bristol a while ago, bought at Beer Emporium. Poured dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, dark fruits and vanilla. Medium sweetness and medium plus roasted bitterness. Medium to full body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Very nice, and shame if it’s no longer in production.

Bottle from Corks of Cotham. Dark, cola brown with a short-lived, beige head. Deep, roasted malts, with some plain chocolate. Flavour was deeper, with some charcoal, dark fruits, slight nuttiness and tarry, roasted finish. Very good.
