Chelmsford Winter Beer Fest (with Rune, Rasmus, Saxo and Camons) @ KEGS. Cask. Almost opaque dark brown beer, a few tan bubbles. Palate is smooth and dry, modest fine carbonation. Tangy dark chocolate malts. Tangy dark fruits. Light dry finish. Standard stout.

Cask at the 2017 Chelmsford & Mid Essex Winter Beer Festival. Pours black with a small off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, lactose, malt, lightly roasted. Light sweetness with medium roasted bitterness. Medium to full body and slightly oily texture. Carbonation is soft. Slight sour finish.
