Cask at Tapped, Leeds. Poured pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of hop, tropical fruit, light caramel. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Light to medium body, average carbonation. Finish is fruity with lasting grapefruit tang.

Bottle. Beer Stop, Dronfield. As North Riding (East Ayton) Jester English Pale Ale. Hazy, pale amber. Swirl of sticky, white head. Nose has pink grapefruit. Orange pulp. Some strawberry. Light, toasty malts. Taste is punchy, oily, zesty bitter. Any sweetness comes from the fruity hops. Crisp mouthfeel. Nice and juicy. Light body. Finish stays zesty bitter, just drying out nicely at the end.
