Big juicy NEIPA alert! We got hold of some of the latest Nelson Sauvin and Riwaka from Clayton Hops, including their new Amplifire versions, and loaded them on top of a background of Citra. If you like New Zealand hops, you'll love this one!

Cask at Pigs Ear Beer Festival 2024, Hackney. London. A hazy golden/orange/yellow coloured pour with a healthy white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, orange, pine, grape, tropical fruit taste/aroma. Delicious IPA from Gravity Well. The name of this beer means something to me as I used to know Sir Roger Penrose for many years, he is a brilliant mathematician who is now in his mid 90's. Excellent beer.

On tap at The Green Goddess, Blackheath Royal Standard. Hazy gold pour with a white head. Grapefruit, kiwifruit, white grape & gooseberry jam aromas. Taste is white pepper, kiwifruit, white grape, more gooseberry jam, zesty lemon, touch of lime. Fruity bittersweet linger. Rather nice.

Cask at Pig's Ear. Hazy orange gold beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a semi dry creamy sweetness. Lovely tropical fruit hops. Light pine. Juicy lime and mango, juicy orange. Floral tangerine before a dry finish brings a modicum of hop spice. Nice cask IPA.
