Cask at Pig's Ear. Opaque dark brown beer, small smooth tan head. Soft and very slightly viscous palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft dark malts, a pleasant tangy mellow dark chocolate. Big apple pie, decent cloves. Smooth light finish. Novel and quite tasty.

Cask at Pigs Ear Beer Festival 2024, Hackney. London. A very dark brown coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Sweetish, apple, malty, cinnamon, nutmeg taste/aroma. Rather thin tasting stout lacking in complexity.
