Hot alcohol, sake, apothecary, wet wood, chocolate sauce. Sweet chocolate, dark fudge, heating alcohol. Quite peppery with boozy vodka-like alcohol in the finish. Thin syrupy texture. This was a bit too much, sorry, Bram!

On tap at the Brugge Beer Festival 2024, Brugge, Belgium. A very dark brown/black coloured pour with a thinnish beige head on top. Sweet, boozy, roasty, malty, caramel, coffee taste/aroma. Incredibly boozy and surprisingly easy to drink despite the 27% ABV.
