Keg at Brewdog Shepherds Bush, London. An almost black coloured pour with a thinnish off white head on top. Roasty, malty, smokey, chocolate, caramel taste, aroma similar. A little thin but pleasant enough.

(Draught at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden, London, 8 May 2024) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, vanilla and milky coffee. Malty, roasted taste with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice, hints of smoke and a balanced roasty bitterness. More than medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Smooth and well rounded. Well made stout. Very nice.

0.44 l can thanks to Višnja 666 who brought it from London, shared with Black Suba, Ade McSquid and her. Oily dark brown to black, oily, minimal head. Chocolate, coffee, hint of smoke. Rough, earthy, mineral, also sweet, honey and malts. Some syrup. A touch of wood. Smooth, medium body, nice but rough salty finish.
