440 ml can, from Left Field Beer, England. ABV is 4.4%. Gusher can. Black colour, huge beige head disappears in seconds. Aroma of chocolate, cinder toffee and roast malts, hints of coffee. Flavour with the same elements, chocolate and vanilla dominate.

Keg at Anchor Tap, Croxley, Herts. A very dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Sweet, chocolate, caramel taste/aroma. Love the aroma on this one but the taste doesn't really match it, not sweet. Tasty enough stout if a little thin.

Black beer, tan head. Aroma has chocolate and toffee. Flavour has toffee, toasty malt, a little honey comb. A bit of toasty malt innthe finish but there's a watery quality to the finish that really detracts from this. It's decent and sessionable but nothing special.

440ml can from Redland Stores, Bristol. Almost black in colour and opaque, with a tight and frothy, beige, head. Massive dark chocolate and honey aroma, with some burnt toffee character. Easy drinking, with dark chocolate that coated the mouth and lingered, alongside more tastiness, a hint of marshmallow and some honey in the toasty finish. Not as sweet as the aroma first suggested, but an indulgent and fun beer to drink.
