Draft at The Colmore, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark amber colour with a big lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is toffee caramel malt. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, earthy, nutty, herbal, light alcohol, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Keg draught at Tønne, Leicester. Reddish mid- to dark brown and clear with a small beige head and spotty lacing. Light malty aroma with ruby chocolate and Horlicks with a suggestion of stone fruit. Sweet taste with a well-placed hoppy bitterness mid-sip. Ummy notes and chocolate malt in the long finish. Light to medium body with intense carbonation.
