Cask 2 pint takeout from The Chiltern Brewery near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a thin beige head on top. Coffee, malty, caramel taste/aroma. A pleasant tasting coffee porter for the 4.1% ABV.

[Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence.] A glossy black pour and a thin tan head; milk chocolate aroma; smooth in the mouth with burnt grains and cinder toffee. Rather good.

Cask at the Bootlegger, 18/05/18. Rich mahogany brown with a decent light tan. Nose is coffee grinds, dark malts, toffee, light roast, chocolate. Taste carries a good coffee bean profile, light black peppery spice, cacao nibs, dried fruits. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close. Solid flavoursome cask coffee affair ... good depth of flavour for the relatively low ABV.
