An annual release - PURPY G - is your confirmation that the leaves are falling and the misery of winter is near. Chocolate, caramel and biscuity malt flavours all combine to support rich bourbon vanilla and a slightly tart hit from ripe plums. A silky-smooth mouthfeel and creamy body all make this a very moreish beer. The perfect beer to take the edge off those cold evenings.

Keg at The Sheffield Tap, Sheffield, Yorkshire. A dark brown coloured pour with a thin off white head on top. Fruity, plum aroma and taste. Not getting any vanilla, quite bitter and not overly complex. Titanic do the best plum porter.

Keg @ Victorian Craft Beer Café, Halifax. Brown, with a creamy off-white head. It has sweetened dark malts through a dominant but not overly stated plum.
