Flight @ The Old English Pub, Gananoque. Aroma of roasted malt, smoke and dark chocolate. Pours cloudy dark brown color with thick frothy light brown head, great lacing and soft visible carbonation. Taste starts with rich and roasted malt and dark chocolate, following is earthy, leathery, coffeeish and smoky, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish dry and bitter. A deep dark stout with a thin creamy lacing brown head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with dark fruits, coffee, very nice. In mouth, a nice bitter chocolate with herbal hops, light mineral notes, pleasant. On tap at brewery.
