Bottle shared by Beersiveknown @ tasting at his place. Huge thanks Steve! Clear golden color, average sized white head. Smell and taste wheat, a bit metallic, dry, bitter, slightly something weird and plant like. Hmm not my kind of beer.

Bottle at cgarvieuk tasting. Appearance - hazy yellow with a nice fluffy head. Nose - intense lime, even lime pickle. White pepper. Taste - more zingy lime notes and light spice, possibly white pepper again. Palate - light bodied with a long lean tangy middle section that continues through the finish. Overall - lovely saison.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy to macropore, rapidly diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy, herbal, hoppy aroma, notes of lemon, grass, nettle, coconut (shell), underlying spicy yeasty hints with a touch of mustard seed and brine, gherkin, dill, additional fruity hints of apricot, a touch of rotting fruit. Taste is herbal-spicy hoppy, hints of wasabi, coconut, nettle, a peppery touch, subtle wheaty sweetness, a fruity touch; mineral, sandy finish. Very rich and intense for only 4.6% abv, Sorachi Ace-dominated, not necessarily located on the easy drinkin’ side.

330ml bottle from trade with steveIveknown. Many thanks! Pours a misty gold, large white head. Aroma is sweet, zesty, sugary. Taste is quite light and spritzy, sorachi is present and accounted for but it’s a little sharp on the lemon front and lightly metallic, and lacks the soft yeasty mouthfeel I was expecting.
