Draft. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and raspberries. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, brett, and raspberries, leading to a bitter finish.

Keg at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Black with rich, coarse head. Tobacco, salmiak and tart raspberries up front. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Tobacco and tart raspberries dominates, some milk chocolate. Fairly low bitterness. Harmonious and pleasant.

Aroma is slightly sour-ish dry roasted, sour raspberries, roasted grain, minerals, grass, berry skin, bark, weeds, alcohol, sour coffee, licorice. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, weeds, bark, fruit stones, minerals, roasted grain, alcohol, berry skin, sour raspberries, licorice, grass, metal tank, burnt toast. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Svart med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter mørk sjokolade og bringebær. Middels Fylde. Bringebærsmaken er der sammen med salt lakris og mørk sjokolade. Middels lang.

Wow what a lovely smooth and tasty beer. A bit to easy drinkable. Dangerous stuff.
Slid black color with a fine frothy beige head that leaves a nice lacing down the sides of the glass. Good intensity in the aroma. Medium + body and a smooth nice carbonation level that makes it very easy to drink. Mellow nice sweetness and a bit oily texture. Dark malt, raspberries, coffee and some chocolate. Exceptionally well blended raspberries!

Smaksprøve fra fat på Bøker & Børst, Stavanger, sammen med Gunnar og Bryne, før avreise til RBHD-samling: brunsvart med ok skum. Raffinert og spennende aroma og smak hvor bringebærene bidrar positivt til stout-opplevelsen uten at det blir verken for surt eller søtt - bare en ekstra lekker dimensjon. flott balanse, munnfylde og lang, god ettersmak. Skal testes igjen. Fra flaske på Mi2 Cardinal mars-18 bekrefter førsteinntrykket. Skummet varte helt ned denne gangen. Ny flaske på Mi2 Cardinal des-19: tiltredes!
