Rich, malty, and full of character. Deep caramel and dark fruit notes of fig and raisin meet hints of banana, spicy clove and toasted sugar. A smooth, warming finish makes this Belgian classic dangerously drinkable.

Chestnut brown topped with a beige cap that thins to the edge.

Taste comprises stewed fruits, vinous edge, spice, herb, dates.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close.
Not bad.

Cask at Pig's Ear. Clear amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Light palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Sweet malts, a sweet caramel and toffee. Sweet berry fruits and light esters. Turns tangy toffee at the end. Light and semi dry finish. Alright, flavoursome but needs something else to balance the sweetness.
