Gravity cask at day 2 of the 40th Pigs Ear Beer festival, Round Chapel Hackney, 04/12/24.
Black topped with a khaki head that retains well.
Nose is chocolate, earthy roast, coffee beans, dark fruit rinds.
Taste comprises fruit slice, coffee, cocoa powder, dates, brown sugar melt, molasses, roasted bite.
Medium plus bodied, soft carbonation, drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Solid cask impy stout.
