Can on the eurostar thanks to Wingman Dave. A lively light tan head. A dark black brown coloured pour. Aroma is jammy fruits, strawberry, dry roast, chalk, liquorice,. Flavour is composed of black sugars, liquorice, frothy, bitter roast, burnt sugars,. Palate is lively, frorhy carbonation, bitter finish.

Can split on the Eurostar to Brussels, thanks to the Wingman, 07/12/18. Black with a decent tan covering that retains well. Nose is chocolate biscuit, dried fruits, mellow roast, toffee. Taste comprises mellow roast, chocolate, toffee, brown sugar, dates, brown bread, raisins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent stout.

Cask (gravity) @ 34th Pig's Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2017, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England.

[ As Belleville Southie Stout ].
ABV: 5.1%. Clear dark brown colour with a small average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, burnt, dark malt, light chocolate, tart coffee - roasted notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20171208]

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2017 - Hackney. Pours rich brown with a bubbly, khaki head. Expressive aroma, with notes of cocoa, burnt crackers, pine. Light-medium sweet flavour with bittersweet chocolate, dry roast, burnt ginger. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Decent balance tonfinish, with further cocoa, some raisins, understated burnt ginger. Fun stuff.
