ABV: 5.0%. Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate - sweet chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light light acidic with a long duration, dark malt, chocolat, wood, sweet chocolate, sour notes ala tobacco. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20171207]

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2017 - Hackney. Pours deep brown with a frothy, tan head. The aroma holds ashy roast, burnt toast, cocoa. Light sweet flavour with lots of scorched earth, more burnt toast, dry and chalky cocoa, some old leather. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation; so so condition. Bitter finish, dry and ashy, with a little carpet, more earth, beaten leather. So so overall.
